Founded in 1963, Harrow and Pinner Lions have a proud history of working in the local community, carrying out fundraising and service activities.
With the current membership totalling 23, we meet regularly on the second and fourth Monday of each month to plan our activities, decide on how we are going to spend the funds that we have raised, discuss local matters and report back to each other on what the news is with the various schemes we are involved in and if further help is needed.

The meetings are always lively affairs as there is always lots to discuss and plan as well as catching up on all the news in each others lives.
We also regularly welcome visitors to our meetings, whether they are are representatives of local groups that need our help or anyone that is interested in finding out about who we are and what we do.
Other visitors to our meetings can be members of other Lions Clubs, it is always interesting to hear their views on what we do and we make visits to other Lions Clubs to hear what they are up to and see if they have any new ideas on fundraising or providing services.
As part of Lions International we often collaborate with other clubs on projects both locally, nationally and internationally, helping to bring aid and assistance wherever and however we can.
Lions International run many schemes that we promote locally including Message in a Bottle, Youth Exchanges, Young Ambassador, Lions Recycle for Sight, Medic Alert, Diabetes Testing and Environmental Service Projects
As part of our role internationally and as part of the Harrow Community, the Harrow and Pinner Lions twinned with the Lions Club of Douai Gayant and we enjoy regular communications and visits to them and from them.
We generally meet at Belmont Lodge in Harrow Weald, but every now and again we will have a change of venue and meet up in a restaurant so that we can combine dinner, with the meeting and make it more of a Social Event.
